Strictly Come Dancing’s Kristina Rihanoff has revealed that Majella O’Donnell is her hero.
Kristina is the partner of Daniel O’Donnell on this years show and she told Ray D’Arcy on RTÉ Radio One that she understands what his wife went through in the past.
“Majella in my eyes is a personal hero because I know what she went through and my mother has been going through the same and they told me what she’s done for charity, I think it’s incredible, she is definitely in my eyes a woman to admire,” she said.

“From being close to my mother with this problem it’s a difficult period of life. We all understand each other in a personal level,” she added.
The Russian dancer has had a chat with Majella about her husband’s pending appearance on the show.
“She just said he will work his hardest and he really wants to do well,” she said.
The blonde bombshell revealed that the Donegal singer is working really hard in a bid to make everyone proud of him.

“He’s doing really well, what a pleasure to work with Daniel, such a lovely person, and so dedicated, I think he really wants to do all his friends proud obviously Majella as well, she’s a big fan of the show and she’s the one who wanted him to do Strictly,” she explained.
The Siberian Siren, as she is known, couldn’t reveal what dance the pair would be doing but did say what he will be wearing on the first night.
“He’s going to wear something very sophisticated because I think that’s who Daniel is, he’s a proper gentleman, it’s not just about putting a sparkly shirt on, everybody has their own character,” she added.
