Aisling O’Loughlin has fired back at critics after they slammed her outfit choice on Friday’s episode of Xpose.
The TV3 host raised more than a few eyebrows when she wore a dress by Irish designer Natalie B. Coleman.
The dress quickly became a talking point on social media as viewers came to grips with the cigarette crosses across her chest.
Fans were quick to voice their dislike, with one user calling it the ”worst dress” they had ever seen and another telling Aisling she should ”shoot the stylist”.

So #xpose which deals with fashion and style allows someone who looks as ridiculous as Aisling O’Loughlin to be a presenter. #tv3

However, Aisling has since hit out at the critics and insisted she isn’t bothered by what others think.
”To be honest it doesn’t bother me at all – I loved the dress and I’m the one that was wearing it, so that’s really all that matters,” she told the Irish Daily Mirror.
”I love Natalie B Coleman’s designs. They’re all about having fun and being playful with fashion and that’s something that really appeals to me.
”I like taking risks with what I wear. Fashion is about having fun and expressing yourself.”

The Co. Clare native explained that as a presenter on one of Ireland’s top entertainment shows, she knows she is fare game for online trolls.
”I read two or three of the tweets and then left it at that. I suppose I’m fair game because I’m on TV and it’s a entertainment and fashion show,” she said.”
Everyone has their own opinions and style and this is just what I like, I don’t care what other people think.
”The only worry I have is that wearing a designer like Natalie, you want to do their designs justice so that bothers me a bit that they’re talking about her dress that I’m wearing.”
