Nicky Byrne’s Eurovision song was only revealed a week ago but he’s already one of the favourites to win.
The former Westlife star will represent Ireland in this year’s song contest in Sweden and fans of the TV event have high hopes for the Dubliner’s chance at the top spot.
Although not all of the countries acts have been chosen yet, Nicky has impressed bookies and Eurovision experts alike with his song.
According to The Herald, the 37-year-old is currently 12th favourite to win the contest in Stockholm but faces stiff competition from Russian front runner Sergey Lazarev.
Nicky’s solo career has truly taken off since his Eurovision announcement after he recently signed a record deal with Universal Music Ireland.
Meanwhile, his song Sunlight continues to impress viewers online and has notched up an impressive 130,000 views on YouTube so far.
