With last year’s Hollywood strikes, there was a delayed production in a host of films and TV shows.
However, 2024 will see the emergence of some returning series to the streaming service along with brand-new films.
According to website contributor Alan at Increditools, these are the most anticipated shows and films to hit Netflix throughout the year.
Avatar – The Last Airbender
Avatar: The Last Airbender, once a hit animated series, is now being brought to live-action by Netflix.
The story discusses the war between the four elemental nations of Fire, Water, Earth, and Air, and introduces characters who can control these elements, known as ‘benders’.
The first eight episodes hit Netflix on February 11 and it has recently been renewed for a Season two and three.
The Umbrella Academy – Season 4
This is the final offering from the Umbrella Academy, and it’s sure to be full of comedy, drama, and superhero action! This time, there will be six episodes, all of shorter length.
In this season viewers will discover more about Sir Reginald Hargreeves and his children. If they were adopted, are their mothers still alive? Whilst the future is unknown, there are apparently some clues in the original comic books.
Break Point – Season 2
For ten episodes, you’ll follow various underdog tennis stars involved in tournaments and Grand Slams in the WTA and ATP tours in this fabulous sports show.
The series landed to Netflix on January 10.
It focuses on the first half of the 2023 tennis season, with a series of episodes covering the second half releasing at a later date.

This movie combines action, adventure, and high fantasy.

Following in sixth is 3 Body Problem which raked up 1,400 google searches, followed by The Gentleman with 700, Bridgerton – Season 3 with 540, Rebel Moon with 500 and Squid Game Season 2 with 570.
