The Golden Globes are set to air tonight, after being postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The nominees were announced last month, after the event was rescheduled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Here’s everything you need to know ahead of tonight’s event:
When?
The 78th annual Golden Globe Awards are set to take place on Sunday, 28 February at 8pm EST, or 1am GMT on March 1.
The official Golden Globes Awards red carpet pre-show will start streaming from the official @GoldenGlobes Twitter account at 11:30pm GMT.
After the pre-show, Giuliana Rancic will host the red carpet along with Queer Eye host Karamo, Zanna Roberts Rassi and Erin Lim, interviewing some of Hollywood’s biggest stars and nominees over on E!
The ceremony usually takes place in early January, but it was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Golden Globes will be followed by the Critics Choice Awards on 7 March, the Screen Actors Guild Awards on 4 April. the BAFTAs on 11 April and the Oscars on April 25.
The Hosts

This year’s ceremony will be broadcast from New York and Los Angeles, hosted by comedy legends Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
Tina will be live from the Rockefeller Centre in Manhattan, while Amy presents the show from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA.

Celebrity presenters will join Tina and Amy at the Rainbow Room inside Rockefeller Center in NYC or at the Beverly Hilton in L.A.
The Nominees
The nominees were announced on February 3, and include Irish actor Brendan Gleeson for his role in The Comey Rule.
Irish animated film Wolfwalkers has also received a nod, and Irish drama Normal People is up for Best Television Limited Series.
