Everything you need to know about Ireland at the FIFA Women’s World Cup

The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup has officially kicked off.

The tournament, which is jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand, runs until August 20.

Ireland played the inaugural match at Stadium Australia against host nation Australia on Thursday, July 20, which they unfortunately lost 1-0.

The Girls in Green’s next match is against Canada on Wednesday, July 26 at 1pm, and the following game is against Nigeria on Monday, July 31 at 11am.
