Westlife’s Shane Filan has sent a “good friend” to replace him at his daughter’s graduation.
The singer’s rarely-seen daughter Nicole graduated from secondary school on Friday.
Unfortunately, Shane could not be there for her big day as he was on tour with Westlife in Asia.
The Sligo man is currently on tour with his bandmates Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne, and Mark Feehily.
However, the 44-year-old posted a hilarious snap to his Instagram showcasing who he sent to the graduation in his place.
Nicole smiled as she posed alongside a lifesize cardboard cutout of her Westlife star father.

Shane captioned the post: “So my daughter Nicole graduated from school yesterday & unfortunately I was not there… I was on tour with boys in China 🇨🇳… but I got a good friend of mine to stand in for me 😉..”

Nicole’s favourite Westlife song has been revealed as their hit song Safe.
Fans took to the comments section to congratulate Nicole on her achievement, one user wrote: “Congratulations to Nicole on her graduation!! One is always with the people we love because they are in our hearts. Every step we take!! Congratulations”.
