Good news for fans of The Night Agent on Netflix

We’ve got some good news for fans of The Night Agent on Netflix.

The political thriller made a huge impact when it joined the streaming service last year, and became its most-watched show in the first half of the year – with 812.2m hours viewed.

While fans are eagerly anticipating a second season of the hit series, it looks like we won’t have long to wait…

On Monday, Netflix announced that season two of The Night Agent had officially wrapped production.

The official Instagram account for the show has also teased that the second season is “coming soon.”

The series, adapted from Matthew Quirk’s novel of the same name, follows FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso), who finds himself unraveling a vast conspiracy inside the U.S. government after he answers a mysterious phone in the basement of the White House.

In December 2023, Deadline reported that season two would be released in 2024 and consist of 10 episodes.

The second season will feature a host of new faces, including Amanda Warren as Catherine Weaver, Arienne Mandi as Noor, Berto Colon as Solomon, and Louis Herthum as Jacob Monroe, and Brittany Snow as Alice, Peter’s partner and mentor in his first Night Action assignment.

Lead actor Gabriel Basso will return as Peter Sutherland, alongside Luciane Buchanan who plays his love interest Rose Larkin.
