Ruth Langsford has broken her silence after confirming her shock divorce from Eamonn Holmes.
The former This Morning hosts “are in the process of divorcing”, stating that work “took their marriage in different directions.”
A spokesperson for the couple told the DailyMail: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”
Posting on Instagram on Sunday, Ruth shared a video of herself walking the former couple’s pet dog Maggie alongside another clip of her mother Joan.
“Enjoying the little bit of sunshine we got today! Maggie!” Ruth captioned the first photo.
Meanwhile, Eamonn shared his own weekend Instagram post after Manchester United’s FA Cup final win: “My God, what a Cup Final, what a Result! European football is next season too. The Magic of The Cup. Congratulations to the whole squad.”

The pair are parents to son Jack, 22 – with Eamonn also having sons Declan, 35, Niall, 31, and daughter Rebecca, 33, from his previous marriage.
