Love Island winners Greg O’Shea and Amber Gill jet back to the UK with other finalists

They've posted on social media for the first time since leaving the villa

Love Island winners Greg O’Shea and Amber Gill are jetting back to the UK with the rest of the finalists today.

The couple, who are taking home a £50k cash prize between them, shared loved-up selfies while on route home – after finally getting their phones back.

Greg, Amber and the rest of the finalists have been on lockdown in Mallorca since the Love Island final took place on Monday night.

The finalists were held at a secret location in Mallorca, as show bosses prepared them for re-entering the outside world.

According to The Sun, they all had to take part in an intense day of training – which included one-on-one sessions with a financial adviser, and social media training.

Love Island bosses chose to implement the compulsory training day, after they came under fire for their aftercare processes earlier this year – following the deaths of two former Islanders.

Irish gal Maura Higgins also posted on social media for the first time since leaving the villa, sharing a selfie of her and Curtis on the plane.

She captioned the post: “I’m back everybody. Absolutely shocked and overwhelmed with all the support for me and Curtis.”

“Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. We love you all. London we on the way.”
