Eva Longoria and her husband José Baston have decided to quit Hollywood “for their son’s sake.”
The Desperate Housewives star and businessman recently lowered the price of their Beverly Hills mansion from $22.8 to $18.9 million.
The couple is relocating to their newly renovated home in Marbella, Spain.
The parents who share one son, Santiago, 5, are concerned that he will get “sucked into the Hollywood cycle.”
The couple have reportedly already started shipping their belongings from their eight-bedroom Los Angeles mansion.
A source told the Daily Mail: “Eva and José are leaving Los Angeles for good and have put their home up for sale again.”
“They took it off the market in June but recently relisted it for $4 million less in February because they are just ready to get out.”
“They are already shipping their belongings there and this is not something that they will change their mind on.”
“They want to raise their son in a place where he will be surrounded by nature and beauty and not be sucked into the whole Hollywood cycle.”
The source added: “They are moving to their home in Spain full-time and are both so excited about it. She has had everything that she wanted in Hollywood.”
In January, Texan-born Eva told Hello Magazine: “The first time I came to Marbella, two decades ago, it was love at first sight. I said to myself: “Some day I’ll live here.”
“Later, we set up the Global Gift Foundation, and this is where Antonio Banderas, my best friend MarÃa Bravo and I held the first gala.”
