Claire Byrne has revealed that she had resigned herself to never getting married again or having children after her first divorce.
The RTE presenter was married to radio executive Richard Johnson, with the pair calling it off in 2005.
It would be six more years before Claire met her now husband Gerry Scollan and during that time she had settled on the single life.
