One Direction star Niall Horan made a massive €1.4 million last year just by agreeing to go on tour.
The 1D lads made bank before they ever went on stage after being given advances of €8.45 million for their Where We Are tour.
“They receive advances to ensure they will commit to the tour and secure their services for a certain period,” a financial expert explained.
Bank: 1D were given €1.4 million in advance of their tour
“There’s a huge amount of outlay in arranging a tour and the organisers will want to be sure that the star attractions are going to be there.”
However, the Mullingar natives tour advance was just a small chunk of change compared to his actual earnings.
The 21-year-old could stand to earn up to 28.75 million for six months’ work.
