Landing the role of a life time in Star Wars is certainly something worth talking about, but not for Domhnall Gleeson.
The actor, who is one of Brendan Gleeson’s son, didn’t tell any of his famous family that he had landed a role in the JJ Abrams epic.
“He can’t say anything so he doesn’t give me any information,” said his actor brother Brian.

“He won’t show us the script at all, he just makes lightsaber sounds as a way of teasing me.”
Brian, who starred in Irish comedy The Stag, admitted Domnhall had to keep things under wraps.
“I didn’t know a thing, he kept it very secret.”

While Domhnall’s exact role in Star Wars: Episode VII has yet to be revealed, the cast include returning stars Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher.
After winning the role Domhnall said getting a phonecall to say he had the part was surreal.
“It’s the maddest thing in the world, and I’m just incredibly excited about it,” he said at the time.
