Mrs Brown’s Boys D’Movie is the number one film released in Ireland this year.
The movie version of Brendan O’Carroll’s BBC TV series brought in more than €3.8 million overall this year.
And it was also a huge hit abroad – making more than €18 million outside of Ireland since its June release as Agnes Brown takes over the world.
But it wasn’t the top hit in Ireland by as big a mile as you’d have believed – with the Lego Movie just behind with €3.4 million.
In third, Gone Girl has made €2.6 million; while fourth place Dawn of the Planet of the Apes made €2.5 million.
Only eight movies made over €2 million in Ireland – with ninth place, The Inbetweeners 2, bringing in €1.9 million.
Tenth place was X-Men: Days of Future Past with €1.8 million, which starred Michael Fassbender.
