Dani Dyer has revealed that she has a pregnancy condition – as she reaches 19 weeks.
The Love Island winner announced in July that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Sammy Kimmence.
As she nears the half-way mark of her pregnancy, Dani told her Instagram followers that she may not be able to feel her baby in her stomach – as she opened up about a condition she has called anterior placenta.
“It’s basically my placenta is at the front [of the uterus] so it cushions the baby, so they said I might not be able to feel the kick and movements as much,” she shared.
“I was like ‘what other ones [placentas] are there?’ but I thought as long as the baby’s healthy, stop stressing about it.
“I’m now 19 weeks, it’s so mad that I’m nearly half way,” she added.
“It’s just so so exciting, but I’ve been OK, now and again I am getting headaches, I’m not going to lie … but other than that I’ve been having a lot more good days than bad which is really nice.
“I’m having more energy, which is good.”
Earlier today, the mum-to-be told her followers that she had been to a pregnancy scanned – as she revealed her and Sammy did not know the baby’s gender yet.
“Happy Monday everyone. On way home from seeing our little one???? The build up to a scan is the most nerve wrecking/exciting thing, I kept seeing one magpie and it was really starting to irritate me I wanted to see 2! I’ve become too superstitious????
“Can’t believe we are almost half way… Sammy honestly in every scan has become more and more charming to the the lady who scans us so she will tell him what the sex of baby is???? ITS NOT HAPPENING!!
She added: “Love you little one more and more everyday so glad you are healthy in there❤️”
Dani rekindled her romance with Sammy last year, following her split from Jack Fincham.
She won the 2018 series of Love Island with Jack, but they split just a few months after leaving the villa.
