It’s been a week of huge changes in 2FM – and now Louise McSharry is the latest host to announce a switch up.
The mum-of-one revealed she is leaving her evening show and will be taking over Nicky Byrne and Jenny Greene’s spot.
Louise is set to go on maternity leave in May for her second baby, but will sit in the hot seat until then.
“Hello. From tomorrow until I go on maternity leave in May, I’ll be on @RTE2fm from 10-1, Monday to Friday ahead of @JenniferMaguire starting her new show in that slot in June,” she wrote.
“Looking forward to talking to you then.”

So, to make things more confusing, Jennifer Zamparelli will then take on the time slot from June, as 2FM have already announced she has a new show.
But for the last week Conor Behan has been taking over The Nicky Byrne Show – even getting his own jingle.
Now Louise McSharry’s night time show is up for another presenter to take over.
The news comes after we exclusively revealed that Doireann Garrihy is “being lined up” to join 2FM.
