Ariana Grande has confirmed that her next single will be released next Friday, January 18th.
The 25-year-old’s new track follows her most recent releases, ‘Thank U, Next’ and ‘Imagine’.
Taking to Instagram, Ari shared a number of pics from the music video, and a snap of the single’s cover – which features a pink door with ‘7 Rings’ spray painted on it.
The singer simply captioned the snaps with ring emojis, and the date, “1.18.”z
Fans previously noticed a string of ‘7 Rings’ hints in her iconic music video for ‘Thank U, Next’, and Ariana has since confirmed that they were right.
Explaining the inspiration behind the new song, Ariana previously tweeted, “Well …………. ‘twas a pretty rough day in nyc. my friends took me to tiffany’s. we had too much champagne. i bought us all rings. — it was very insane and funny. & on the way back to the stu njomza was like ‘bitch, this gotta be a song lol’. so we wrote it that afternoon.”
