Mel B’s daughter, Pheonix, has claimed that she witnessed Stephen Belafonte attack her mother.
The 19-year-old alleged that she saw her stepfather attack Mel several years ago, but didn’t know how to help or what to do at the time.
“I was maybe 14 or 15. I was in my bedroom. I could hear them fighting,” Pheonix claimed, in the Mail on Sunday’s You Magazine.

“My mum came downstairs to the kitchen followed by Stephen. I looked through the crack halfway up the stairs – where I could just see the kitchen – to check if everything was OK, which it was, then returned to my room,” she alleged.
“I heard more screaming and her shouting, ‘Stop, get off’, and heard little thumps. I went to the stairs again and saw … my mum pushed over the couch. I froze, but then I just went back [to her room]. This was my family life,” Pheonix claimed.
The 19-year-old also revealed that there was tension between her family and Stephen, as she told family members that she hated him.
Pheonix claimed that the producer also abused their dog, as she wrote: “Our dog Lordy got beaten by Stephen. He once threw him in the pool – Lordy hit the water really hard and was so distressed.”
“I think I tried to deal with all of this by blanking out my emotions. If I didn’t cry or make a fuss there would be less trouble,” the model added.
