Ryan Thomas’s mum Sandra has revealed that she’ll never forgive Roxanne Pallett, after she falsely accusing him of assaulting her.
The former Emmerdale star dramatically accused Ryan of assaulting her inside the Celebrity Big Brother house, but Roxanne has since admitted that she “got it wrong”.
Ryan’s tearful mother appeared on ITV’s This Morning on Tuesday, where she opened up to Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby about the scandal.
She said: “I don’t think I’ll ever forgive her. I can’t watch him crying or distressed. It makes me feel very distressed. It hurts.”
“Lucy (Mecklenburgh – Ryan’s girlfriend) has been speaking to the production team on my behalf.”
“He’s my baby. Whatever age they are, when they’re in distress you want to reach out and give them a hug.”
Sandra also said that Roxanne is still getting too much air time, and that she needs to apologise to Ryan in person.
Ryan’s mum also slammed show bosses for the way they handled the incident.
She said: “I could tell when he had that (formal warning) that he was going down at that point. I don’t think he could believe it himself and that’s when his morale started to go.”
“I think it could have been dealt with a little more easier than her saying an accusation and him getting a formal warning and that was it.
“I don’t know what the reason for that is. He was quite isolated because of the incident. The housemates just heard what she had told them. I felt like he didn’t know where to go for help.”
