Love/Hate's Peter Coonan: 'I can't believe people have fallen in LOVE with Fran'

Love/Hate star Peter Coonan has admitted he can’t believe fans love his crazed gangster alter ego Fran.

The TV actor’s character was seen taking part in a number of gangland killings, animal abuse, and drug smuggling.

But Peter has found that fans of the RTE show have fallen in love with Fran – despite the horror he is seen inflicting on others.

“People have learned to love him. Especially in series three when he became this loveable rogue when he came out of prison,” he said.
