Ant McPartlin has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
The Saturday Night Takeaway co-host was arrested at 4pm on Sunday, after hitting two cars in his Mini in London, while his mother was also in the car.
According to the UK Sun, an onlooker said “Ant looked like his world had just ended”. Apparently Ant got “agitated and argumentative” with a policewoman as he was arrested.
“The woman was trying to arrest him and get him in the police car but he clearly wasn’t having it,” the onlooker added.
“He was not making it easy for her and he seemed to be trying to wriggle out of her clutches. He was not in a good way.
“Eventually she got him in the police car. There were about six or seven police cars in total.”
A child was taken to hospital as a precaution, but it is believed no one was badly hurt in the collision.
It comes after Ant, 42, went to rehab last summer, for alcohol and prescription drug addiction.
According to the report Any’s car veered into the wrong lane and hit a Mini, before crashing into a BMW.
It’s been a rough few months for the I’m A Celebrity host, after he and wife Lisa Armstrong announced their separation.
