Vogue Williams reveals she would be ‘happy’ to never get married again

Vogue Williams has admitted that to her, marriage has “lost it’s sparkle”.

The Dublin model was chatting to George Hook on Newstalk today, after their awkward run in on RTÉ’s Cutting Edge, and the pair chatted about all sorts – including marriage.

The TV star was previously married to ex Westlife star Brian McFadden, and George asked if she would ever walk down the aisle again, “having had one [marriage] that didn’t work”.

“I don’t know about marriage, to be honest with you,” Vogue replied. “Because I think that marriage now… it’s sort of lost its sparkle to me.”

“I think that when I was going into it, it was something to me that’s like, ‘That’s how you create a family, that’s what you’re supposed to do’ and I liked the idea of marriage.

“I wouldn’t be necessarily needing a contract between me and that person. I think buying a house together, having a child together would be much more important.

“But then, you meet somebody and they want to get married and you don’t want to take that away from them. So if that happens then maybe I’d change my mind, but I’d be quite happy to never do that [again].”

Vogue is now dating Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, and the pair just returned from a romantic trip to Disneyland Paris.

No fear: Vogue said she’ll happily raise kids on her own after 35 | VIPIRELAND.COM

When George asked if Vogue had “this great desire to procreate”, she replied, “Oh I do.”

“I definitely want kids. Definitely. I’m not single anymore, but I was single last year and I did worry about that,” she explained.

Although Vogue was worried, she eventually decided that if she gets to 35 and she’s still single – she’ll happily do it on her own.

“And then I just decided to myself, ‘If I don’t have kids by the time I’m 35 I’m going to do it on my own’. So I’m not worried anymore,” she added.
