Sheer mania! Irish fans go wild for singing sensation Ed Sheeran

Hundreds of Ed Sheeran fans were in Dublin the last 24 hours to witness not one, but THREE gigs thanks to the musician.

The UK star came to the capital city yesterday ahead of two private gigs today, one in HMV on Henry Street, and another in 2FM’s studios.

Fans lined the streets in Dublin in hopes of catching a glance of the red-head, who only played for competition winners.

Appearing on the Louise Duffy Show on Today FM, Ed performed for crowds in HMV and enjoyed a chat with the presenter.

The Give Me Love singer was then driven to RTE where he performed for winners at 2FM.

Radio host Rick O’Shea said that Ed was continuing his promo tour elsewhere, and “pulled his chord out of his guitar and left” nearly seconds after his performance of popular hit Sing.

And for those who didn’t get to see him in action today, Ed surprised punters in Doyle’s pub, as a part of their Ruby Sessions.
