Yvonne Connolly gave her boyfriend John Conroy the fright of his life on The Seven O’Clock Show after pretending to propose to him.
The TV star appeared on the show on their February 29 episode and poked fun at the leap year tradition of women proposing to their partners.
The mum-of-three decided to play a prank on her beau and the viewers at home – announcing with a very straight face that she had something important to say.

“You know I have my boyfriend who I love very much here with me tonight,” she said.
“And I just want to ask him something…wait, why is he running away?”
The 42-year-old clarified that she only want to ask John to help her with the dishes – she had us going there for a minute!
