Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are celebrating their first Valentine’s Day as a married couple, but unfortunately they’ll be spending the day apart.

While the Duchess of Sussex has previously admitted that she’s a “sucker” for Valentine’s Day, her husband will be spending the day in Norway without her.

The Duke will visit a remote training camp 200 miles inside the Arctic Circle, where he will meet military personnel living and training on the base.

Prince Harry’s trip will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Exercise Clockwork in Bardufoss – the traditional name of the annual winter exercise that trains Royal Marines and Royal Navy sailors and airmen.

Of course, Meghan’s absence from the trip doesn’t come as a surprise, as she’s heavily pregnant with the couple’s first child.

It’s believed the Duchess is due to give birth around April, but before the baby arrives, the couple are moving out of Kensington Palace and relocating to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
