Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made their first official public appearance together, after more than a year of dating.
The 33-year-old royal and the 36-year-old actress were pictured holding hands as they made their way to the wheelchair tennis game between New Zealand and Australia at the annual Paralympic-style Invictus Games in Toronto on Monday.
The couple tried to keep things low key, but the pair were immediately met with some cheers from the audience as they walked past hand in hand.
Harry and Meghan have been extremely private about their relationship since it was revealed last November, and have rarely been photographed together.
However, Monday was the first time they’ve attended an official public event together, amid rumours that Prince Harry is set to pop the question.
As an insider previously told E! News that he’s “fast approaching” an engagement with the actress.
“It’s, of course, very serious and both Harry and Meghan are focused on the future. Engagement talk isn’t just between the two of them, even some of Harry’s closest aides are quietly expecting news before the end of the year.”
