Ed Sheeran has NOT been asked to perform at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding, it has been revealed.
Earlier this week, Entertainment Tonight claimed that Ed was officially asked to sing at the royal wedding on May 19 – the same night Ed is scheduled to play a gig in Dublin’s Phoenix Park.
However, Independent.ie has reported that a rep for record label Warner Music has slammed the claims as “not true”.
They also added that “there is no clash” between Ed’s Phoenix Park gig and the wedding, as “no one has asked them to do the royal wedding”.
The news comes after Elton John cancelled two Las Vegas gigs, which were scheduled to take place on the same weekend as the wedding.Â
This has led fans to believe that Elton will either attend or perform at Harry and Meghan’s wedding.
