Hollywood star Sarah Greene is returning home to Ireland – after joining the new series of Penny Dreadful.
The Cork actress will be back this month to begin filming the second series of the Sky Atlantic show.
Bosses filmed the first series across 19 weeks in the capital – with Josh Hartnett gracing our shores for the entire filming length.
And season two is expected to be even bigger, with 10 episodes commissioned after almost five million people watched the last season on average across the week.

So far Sarah’s character has yet to be announced, but it comes as her career is on an almighty rise.
Production will take over a number of Dublin landmarks including Dublin Castle, Temple Bar and the Guinness Brewery.
She was delighted to recieve a Tony nomination for her role in The Cripple of Inishmaan alongside Daniel Radcliffe.
And Sarah – who Goss.ie revealed appears in Vogue’s September Issue – recently told how she finds fame scary.
