The Sabrina reboot, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, has received mixed reactions from viewers.
The highly-anticipated remake came out just in time for Halloween and definitely took a creepier twist than the original Nickelodeon series.
The Netflix Original has received a mixed batch of reviews so far, as some have criticised the reboot for being too different from the original Sabrina series, while others think that it is the perfect creepy show for the Halloween season.

Trying very hard to make it through the first episode of Sabrina. The makeup is so poorly done. The dialogue is so rough and exposition heavy. The blurry effect is awful to look at. Not sure Kiernan Shipka is good enough to shoulder a series yet. #SabrinaNetflix

The new series is completely different from Sabrina the Teenage Witch as it takes a new look at the darker side of the Spellman family.
While many fans enjoyed the new twist to the series, others were hoping for more similarities between the two.
Some fans have even criticised others for comparing the original to the reboot, as they claimed that they are not supposed to be exactly the same.
Stop comparing the chilling adventures of Sabrina to the “original Sabrina” the show is based off Sabrina horror comics and totally different from that comedy show. It’s a whole different genre, NOT a remake of the 90s show #ChillingAdventuresOfSabrina #CAOS #SabrinaOnNetflix

Although there has been a mixed response to the reboot on Twitter, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, is receiving raving reviews elsewhere as it’s currently scored 85% on Rotten Tomatoes and 8/10 stars on IMDb.
