RTE star Sharon Ni Bheolain has been targeted by a second stalker, who is now being investigated by Gardai.
The 6.01 newsreader has been hit with a campaign of email and letter harassment, which has been described as “vile”.
It included threats and orders of what she was allowed to wear when presenting the news on RTE One.
Previously, a man had been arrested and questioned before being released without charge, and has denied any involvement.

Now the Herald have revealed that a second suspect, living in Co Cork, has been identified by Gardai.
His home has been searched and and computer seized, but he has not been formally arrested by officers investigating the case.
“Both these individuals seem to be living in an online fantasy world but their actions have caused distress to the injured party and gardai are taking this matter extremely seriously,” a source said.

Sharon was sent messages to her RTE email account and letters to the newsroom in Montrose, which lead to her making a complaint before last Christmas.
Officers, who have investigated the TV journalist, called the messages “graphic, vile and at the higher end of the scale in terms of harassment and sexual depravity”.
