Love/Hate star Laurence Kinlan has denied partying in Spain with co-star Tom Vaughn Lawlor.
Laurence, who plays Elmo in the award winning RTE drama, filmed Season 5 in Spain with Tom aka Nidge.
Although it looked like fun Laurence said it was all work and no play for the actors.
“We’re busy enough here but when we got to Spain there was so much to do and so little time.
“So we worked a 16-hour day on the last day. It was so hard. On the last day we got to have a beer,” he said.

“The papers made out that we went off on a big mad party and it wasn’t like that at all.”
Speaking to the Irish Sun Laurence said the pair went undercover at the airport when they were flying to Spain, to keep the plot under-wraps.
“When myself and Tom were flying to Spain, they asked us if we could just go to the airport and try and keep away from getting photos,” he said.

“We turned up with these big Mexican hats with sunglasses. We were just taking the p*ss. We got away with that because it didn’t get out in the press too much.”
