Love Island reunion: Curtis and Maura finally face Amy

Just when we were lamenting the loss of Love Island: the reunion episode brought back the drama.

The entire cast of the series reunited for the ITV2 show and that meant Amy Hart finally came face to face with Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins.

In a frosty reunion, Amy claimed she held nothing against the finalists: “No not at all, I know them both they’re nice people.”

Amy had admitted she spoke on the phone to Curtis the day before the show.

When host Caroline Flack asked if Curtis had anything to say to her, the dancer said:

“It was a hard time, it wasn’t the best thing that could have happened but hopefully we can be friends.”

Although the moment was tense, Amy said: “If you two are happy then I’m happy, that’s all I wanted.”

Things got more awkward when Caroline asked Curtis if he thought he would still be Amy if Casa Amor had never happened.

After multiple pauses, Curtis finally replied: “I think it would have ended up happening, even if Casa Amor didn’t appear.”

Meanwhile Love Islander Lucie Donlan opened up about why she liked an Instagram post which said Tommy would finally see the light of day and get with her instead of Molly-Mae.

“There’s so much hate online,” Lucy told Caroline Flack.

“I just gone through and liked it and not properly looked at it,” she claimed.

On episode 30 of the Gosscast, Goss Media Founder Ali Ryan sits down with Goss.ie Editor Kendra Becker to wrap up all things Love Island – plus Ali and Kendra chat through this week’s biggest stories.
