Aoibhinn Ni Shuilleabhain has quit her RTE travel show – in order to concentrate on her science studies.
The girlfriend of Late Late Show presenter Ryan Tubridy had been presenting Getaways with Joe Lindsay.
But Aoibhinn – who is working on a PhD – has decided to leave the show behind now its second season has aired.
This is despite the Montrose series, which is co-broadcast by the BBC, being seen as the replacement for No Frontiers.

Recently, Aiobhinn admitted that she wants to be a bride within the next 10 years.
But Tubridy insisted he wouldn’t be marrying Aoibhinn anytime soon – despite her wish to get wed.
He said: “IÂ think she is a woman that knows her own mind, and I think I’m a man who knows his own mind.
“I keep myself to myself in that department. Any discussions on that will be kept for the people at the centre of it.”
