Maura Higgins has responded to speculation surrounding her relationship with Greg O’Shea.
The Longford native was criticised for going on a night out with Greg last week, just hours after he allegedly dumped Amber Gill.
But Maura has since insisted that she did nothing wrong, and slammed claims that she was “flirting” with the Limerick rugby player following their appearance on The Late Late Show.
Speaking to The Sun Online at her Boohoo launch last night, Maura said: “It’s 2019. Just because I’m photographed doesn’t mean I’m flirting or sleeping with him [Greg].”
“If I was photographed with a girl nothing would be said about it. It’s a bit ridiculous. I’m with Curtis, as everyone knows, and Greg is a friend.”
When asked if she had to have a chat with Amber to explain why she was out in Dublin with Greg, Maura said: “No, not at all. Why would I have to speak to her about it?”
“Greg is a friend and did nothing wrong. Greg is a friend of mine from the villa. There’s nothing to say.”
Maura and Amber definitely proved there is no hard feelings between them last night, as Amber attended Maura’s Boohoo launch at Nobu in Shoreditch.Â
