Louis Tomlinson has admitted to spreading false rumours about Niall Horan’s private life.
The singer told Australian radio station Nova FM in Sydney that the band used to feed reporters false information about who Niall was sleeping with while they were out on tour.
After they were formed on The X Factor back in 2015 – One Direction toured together until 2015, before they went on “hiatus” in early 2016.
Niall had previously been linked to model Barbara Palvin, singer Ellie Goulding and Irish model Thalia Heffernan.
The One Directioner confessed: “When I was in One Direction, sometimes we just used to make up different people that Niall had slept with on tour.”
Louis was speaking to the show to promote his new single Kill My Mind.
Earlier this year, Louis told ITN that a One Direction reunion was definitely on the cards.
“I do think it will happen,” he said.
“I’d certainly have something to say about it if it didn’t. I think it’s inevitable. When is the big question. That’s something none of us really know the answer to at the moment.”
Louis isn’t the only one with new music. Zayn, Harry, Liam, and Niall have all been releasing and promoting their own solo material since the band’s break-up.
