Mark Wahlberg has revealed he wants Irish director Jim Sheridan to “call him”.
Speaking at the Irish premiere of Daddy’s Home 2, Mark exclusively told Goss.ie that he would “absolutely” love to work with more Irish stars, admitting he wants the famed director to give him a buzz.
“Just off-hand, Jim Sheridan, I’d love you to call me buddy. Me and Daniel Dey Lewis, we could do something special together,” he said.
“But there are so many talented people here both in front of and behind the camera.
Meanwhile, Mark spoke about working with pal Will Ferrell, admitting that audiences prefer when the pair are against each other on screen.
“It’s interesting because in this movie we’re co-dads. So we have to kind of learn to work to co-exist together, which is not an easy thing to do,” he told Goss.ie.
“In the first movie we really struggled with that but we pick up with this movie, we now kind of got a handle on it, and of course, now my dad shows up and draws a wedge between the two of us and starts to cause a lot of problems.
“Audiences obviously enjoy us being at odds more than working together…so it’s good.
