Curtis Pritchard has admitted that he’s been a “bad boyfriend” to Maura Higgins.
The Longford beauty is currently rehearsing for the upcoming series of Dancing On Ice, but her beau hasn’t been around to watch her rehearsals yet.
Speaking to MailOnline, Curtis was asked if he’s given Maura any advice when it comes to the dance element of the show.
He said: “Ice skating is very similar from the upper half of the body but the lower half is on ice. I dance on a wooden floor.”
“I will give her advice eventually on the upper half. I’m going to let her settle in. She’s excited. I haven’t been to watch her yet, I’m a bad boyfriend.”
Curtis and Maura only recently made their romance “official”, and the former DWTS pro admitted he was “nervous” to ask her out.
“I was nervous. I’m not a person who sleeps around a lot or had a lot of girlfriends,” Curtis said.
“I‘ve only ever really had one [girlfriend] before that and then what happened in the villa happened. I was nervous to ask because I didn’t really know how to do that stuff.”
