Conor McGregor has opened up about donating €10,000 to a sick Irish boy for a life-changing operation.
Goss.ie exclusively revealed last week that Conor donated the money through a GoFundMe campaign.
Although he had donated anonymously, Bryan’s mum Grainne had shared the news that Conor had been the donor.
“Yeah I did yeah,” Conor revealed on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show.
“A kid named Bru, I read something, it came across my lap. I read a story.
“I do this a few times, sometimes,” he explained. “I felt the kids pain.”
“He had a tube up his nose and the kid has cerebral palsy,” he explained.
Bryan had suffered sepsis last year, and since then hasn’t been able to eat or walk, with his situation deteriorating.
Speaking about the operation, which Bryan can now get thanks to Conor, the MMA star said he hopes he gets the help he needs.
“I hope it goes well…I’ve done some good things I’m not all that bad.”
