Brian O'Driscoll achieves 'childhood dream' after inclusion in Guinness World Records book

Rugby star Brian O’Driscoll has scored himself a major triumph – appearing in the new Guinness World Records book.

The former Ireland player features for the first time in the annual publication.

BOD – who is married to Amy Huberman – was included after securing the record for Most International Appearances in Rugby Union.

The ex-Leinster star now features alongside golfer Rory McIlroy and jockey Tony McCoy in the 60th anniversary edition of the book.

And Brian admitted he has achieved a “childhood dream” by getting into the 2015 edition.

He said: “I’m delighted to have made it into this year’s Guinness World Records Book. It’s a childhood dream achieved.”

He achieved 141 caps in total – breaking the previous record of 139 by Australian George Gregan.
