Nicky Byrne has hit back at reports Westlife are set to reunite, insisting: It’s simply not true.
It is reported today that there is a “possibility” of the World Of Our Own band reuniting soon – after Louis Walsh never wanted them to split.
Yesterday, Shane Filan said: “Louis never wanted us to split. A reunion is something he will always want. There is always a possibility some day.”
And the former bankrupt singer added: “It could happen, who knows?”

However 2FM DJ Nicky insisted there is no chance of the lads getting back together – despite Shane’s optimism.
He added: “Hearing reports that a Westlife reunion is mentioned to be ‘on the cards’ in paper today Simply not true.”
Previously Shane said that Louis is desperate for Westlife to get back together and is hounding them to get back together after their 2012 split.

“You don’t know what the future is going to hold. Right now there are no plans.
“It’s something that we don’t know but there is always a possibility some day. I think Louis and every Westlife fan would [like it].”
