Selma Blair has revealed she’s celebrating two years of sobriety.
The actress took to Instagram to share that she has had two years of extreme ups and downs, thanking “the lord” and her friends for keeping her together.
Sharing three photos on her page, Selma wrote: “2 years sober. 2 years feeling everything and nothing. 2 years of extreme gratitude and humility and grace.”

The Cruel Intentions star turns 46 this Saturday, but made headlines back in 2016 when she was removed from an international flight from Cancun to LA after reports she was on “a combination of prescription medication with alcohol.”
“I made a big mistake,” Blair said at the time in a statement.
“After a lovely trip with my son and his dad, I mixed alcohol with medication, and that caused me to black out and led me to say and do things that I deeply regret.”
She added that her “saving grace” came with the knowledge that son Arthur, now 6, was fast asleep with his dad at the time.
