Whitney Port will soon be welcoming her first child into the world, and The Hills star and her husband Tim Rosenman recently the upcoming new arrival with a stylish baby shower.
Whitney shared snapshots from the elegant party, which took place poolside on the rooftop of SIXTY Beverly Hills.
The reality star turned fashion designer told People that she and Tim are “so, so, so excited,” to become parents, adding, “I feel so ready.”
The couple are waiting to find out the sex of their baby, so there was no colour theme to the shower and instead Whitney’s party planner sister Ashley made tropical flower arrangements.
The 32-year-old’s other sisters Paige and Jade and her mother Vicki also helped to throw the party, where guests tucked into Pure Growth Organic snacks.
They were treated to a dinner of burgers, hot dogs and fries, with ice cream sandwiches from Coolhaus for dessert.
Whitney wore a printed kimono style dress for the occasion, and admitted on Instagram that she has been struggling to get used to her pregnant figure.
“At first, I must be honest, I had a very hard time coming to terms with my changing body,” she shared. “I had always prided myself on being healthy from the inside out and it was difficult not labeling my pregnant body “fat”.
“But as time has gone on, I have come to appreciate what my body is ACTUALLY doing. Don’t get me wrong, I still look at myself in the mirror every day in disbelief about the fact that my boobs are now triple d’s or that when I look down, I can’t see my feet, etc., but I remind myself I’m growing a gift and this gift needs room to grow. Just as we all do.”
Whitney and Tim first met because he was a producer on her The Hills spinoff show The City, and they married in November 2015 after three years together.
The star announced her pregnancy in February, and her former co-stars Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag are also currently expecting.
