Performers announced for 2017 Grammy Awards

Metallica and John Legend are set to perform live at the Grammy Awards this year, along with country music stars Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban.

Late Late Show host James Corden will host the 59th annual Grammy Awards, which takes place next month, February 12, in LA.

Some familiar faces to ‘Car Pool Karaoke’ are among the nominees with Adele and Justin Bieber being nominated for Album of the year with ’25’ and ‘Purpose’ respectively.

Meanwhile, performer Keith Urban has received two nominations at this year’s awards, while Metallica and Carrie Underwood are each up for one award.

Beyoncé has received nine nominations, including Album Of The Year for ‘Lemonade’ and Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year for lead single ‘Formation’.

Drake and country musician Sturgill Simpson has also been nominated in the category for Album of the Year Award.
