Kim Kardashian has defended Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s use of private jets.
The royal couple came under fire last month after they used a number of private charters to travel to France and Spain from the UK.
Kim, speaking to Reuters at the World Congress on Information Technology in Armenia, said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are “very passionate about decisions that change the world” and hinted that they do not merit the criticism they faced at the time.
Kim detailed that her own family are trying to be more mindful regarding climate change, and said that she looks up to climate change activist Greta Thunberg.
Describing the 16-year-old as a”brave and amazing young woman,” Kim expressed that she admires the teen and would consider her to be a dream dinner party guest.
“She is such an amazing young girl, and so brave and courageous to stand up to these grown-ups that can be very scary and for her to be so open and honest is exactly what we need,” she said.
“Climate change is a serious problem.”
Kim even offered to help Greta’s parents learn more about using the teen’s social media in a positive way to spread her message.
“Speaking on a big platform invites a lot of different opinions and personalities,” she explained.
