Hailey Baldwin’s cousin Ireland reveals her engagement to Justin Bieber was a ‘long time coming’

The model thinks Justin and Hailey are soulmates

Ireland Baldwin has revealed that her cousin Hailey’s engagement to Justin Bieber was a “long time coming”.

The 22-year-old, who is the daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, was questioned about the rumours surrounding Justin and Hailey’s engagement at the iHeart Radio Festival over the weekend in Las Vegas.

Earlier this month, the a-list couple sparked rumours that they’d already tied the knot, and Ireland’s dad Alec fuelled the rumours by ‘confirming’ their marriage just a few days later.

Despite this, Ireland has confessed to Entertainment Tonight, “I have no idea what their situation is.”

She continued, “I think they’re just taking things slow. They’re just kissing all over the world. They’re just kissing and loving and having fun, and I think people take little details and get too caught up in them, and they’re looking too hard. Just let them kiss!”

Ireland went on to explain, “It was meant to be a long time ago. It was just a long time coming, and we’re all like, ‘Alright, thank god, let’s move forward.'”

“They’re so in love and they really do a lot of good for each other, and that’s the most important thing for me, that he makes her so happy.”

“I just think they’ve gone through a lot of trial and error as individuals and together, and I think that’s what really withstands and holds a relationship and really proves it’s worth and that it’s meant to be,” she continued.

“They just bring out the good in each other, they really do. I think they do a really good job of checking each other when one desperately needs to be checked and told, ‘You’re out of line.’”

“I think they really, really do care about each other so much and care about what others and what their families think of them.”
