PICS: Well-known faces step out for preview screening of Sherlock Gnomes at Odeon Point Village

There was a hive of activity on Sunday at Dublin’s Odeon Cinema in Point Village Dublin for a special preview screening of the new film Sherlock Gnomes.

Well known faces spotted at the screening included Baz Ashmawy and his kids Hannah and Mahy.

Also pictured was model Kerri Nicole Blanc and her daughter Kayla, Triona McCarthy and her family, cinema buff Gordon Hayden, and Rosie Connolly.

TV presenter Jenny Buckley was also spotted on the green carpet, just one month after giving birth to her second baby Rosabel.

The new children’s animation went down a hit with the audience, as the story follows Gnomeo and Juliet, have just moved to a new garden, where they hope to live happily ever after.

However, when the other gnomes disappear, they recruit ‘Sherlock Gnomes’ to help. He’s the sworn defender of all garden gnomes, and is the only one who might be able to solve this mystery. And so begins a whole new adventure into the great unknown, to rescue the gnomes and bring them home safe.

The sequel to the smash hit ‘Gnomeo And Juliet’ – ‘Sherlock Gnomes’ reunites James McAvoy and Emily Blunt, while introducing the voice of Johnny Depp as the great detective himself.
