Síle Seoige has revealed she is “not a Catholic” and hasn’t been for years – as she shared her support for the Stand 4 Truth movement.
While around 130,000 people headed to Dublin’s Phoenix Park to join Pope Francis in a special mass, thousands of others came together for an event focused on victims of abuse from the church.
Hozier, Roisin O, Mary Black and Brian Kennedy all performed at the emotional event.
Growing up…
I went to mass regularly.
I sang in the choir.
I even thought I wanted to be a nun when I was kid!!!But I am not a Catholic & I haven’t been for many many years.
The abuse, the cover ups, the corruption, the wealth…it makes me sick.

While Síle couldn’t make it herself, she Tweeted her support.
