Jamie Dornan has been slated for his “brick wall” performance in 50 Shades of Grey.
The movie adaptation of the bestselling erotic novel series has been one of the most hotly anticipated films in years.
However it seems that movie critics were not impressed by the the hunky Irish actor’s wooden performance.
“Co-star Dornan, an Irish model-turned actor gives [Dakota Johnson] a brick wall to act with,” a Rolling Stone critic wrote.

“Either pulverized with fear or embarrassment, Dornan seems to have no idea who or what he is playing,” they added.
“The film version of E.L. James’ Fifty Shades of Grey is such a dull, decorous affair, about as erotic as an ad for Pottery Barn,” the reviewer continued.
Another reviewer felt the Co. Down star was not believable as the kinky and dominant Christian Grey.

“Although I did grow to appreciate his modest, unshowy acting, it’s clear he’s not sending much heat her way,” Vulture wrote.
Meanwhile, Jamie’s co-star Dakota Johnson has been showered with praise for her role as the naive Anastasia Steele.
“The film’s single biggest asset is Johnson, she projects an instantly compelling blend of vulnerability and spiky resistance,” The Telegraph wrote.

“Her gift is for achieving emotional transparency while looking nothing like a trained actress. But the craft is there,” Vulture also wrote.
Despite all the new attention from women Jamie is receiving, he recently revealed he has massive body hang-ups.
