One fifth of the world’s biggest boyband, Niall Horan had to cut short a romantic date when he was mobbed by One Direction fans.
The Mullingar musician was catching a coffee at Melbourne’s Cafe Domain with his rumoured new beau Melissa Whitelaw when a crowd of girls descended on them screaming and talking snaps.
Having to split early from their hangout, the good-looking duo were being watched over by Niall’s beefy minder when the incident took place.

The handsome pair only got minutes to enjoy their coffees before they were surrounded by hysterical school girls and were quickly taken away.
Owner of the coffee shop took to the café’s Facebook to talk about the incident.
“We don’t normally fuss or advertise celebrity faces but today there was so much hype about this one it’s funny not to mention,” he posted.

Currently on tour Down Under, Niall has been linked with the 21-year-old Australian since the band’s On The Road Again gigs began in Sydney.
